They provide a smooth, cushioned ride and can overcome small debris and obstacles on the floor. They offer floor protection, are non-marking and non-conductive. These often have various brand names by various manufacturers and can be flat or crowned. TPR are considered soft wheels which may experience flat-spotting even when loaded within the acceptable weight limits. Flat-spotting is more noticeable in warmer weather. The flat-spotting will roll-out and dissipate after a few minutes of rolling, depending on the size of the standing load and extent of the flat-spotting. This is a normal occurrence of these wheels and is not a product failure. If your application cannot tolerate this temporary condition, another material type may be preferable.
