Position Locks are ideal in situations where the application is heavy yet requires the maneuverability of all swiveling casters.  When driving the application, the swivel locks will lock the casters into a rigid position allowing for easier, safer, more controllable handling.
 
These can be purchased as a welded-on part of the caster assembly or as a standalone component which can be bolted onto your existing casters.  
 
These are an inexpensive and useful feature of which few people are aware.
