Spherical Ball casters, sometimes called Hooded Ball casters are popular for store fixtures, furniture, office equipment and medical equipment. They feature double-ball bearing raceways, octagon washers on the threaded stems for easy installation and the 2" model is heat treated. The 1-5/8" ball is a soft, non-marking rubber while the 2" models have a tougher, higher weight capacity polyolefin wheel. Several finishes are available.

Polyolefin wheels are a lightweight, economical, hard tread wheel that withstands hard impacts and abusive conditions. They provide floor protection, are non-marking and non-conductive. Resistant to water, oils, grease, solvents and many chemicals.
